I wanted to learn a new skill, which is working with patients virtually, especially since it is becoming a more popular form of patient care. I am also a new mom and wanted the opportunity to be home more with my baby, I know I would struggle leaving her for 8-10 hours a day, being home with her gives me the comfort knowing she is ok. I live in a small mountain town in Colorado, although majority of my free time is now revolved around taking care of our newborn, I still enjoy being able to go mountain biking!
